Biography

Lovis Nnogge is a Strategic Execution Management researcher and senior practitioner with advanced academic training in strategic management and organizational project management. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in strategic management and an MBA in project management, and carries the PMI Triple Crown: Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP) and Project Management Professional (PMP). His career spans more than twenty-two years in portfolio leadership, strategic execution, digital transformation and organizational change.

His research field, Strategic Execution Management, is an emerging interdisciplinary field at the intersection of strategic management and organizational project management. His work is organised around three connected areas: strategic design systems, strategic translation systems and strategic realization systems. His interests include adaptive portfolio governance and decision intelligence, strategic alignment and strategy translation, benefits realization and value governance, and AI-augmented strategic execution systems.

He is a contributor to PMI global standards, including the PMBOK Guide, The Standard for Program Management and The Standard for Portfolio Management. He also brings international evaluator experience as a judging committee member for the PMI PMO Global Awards, directly relevant to his role on the CPMA 2026 Judging Committee.

He serves as EMEA Ambassador and PMO subject matter expert at The PMO Leader, Chapter Ambassador for PMI Sub-Saharan Africa, and coach and mentor with the Project Management Institute. He is also Pioneer Director of the FUNIC Institute for Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship (FIIRE) and a Board Director, representing alumni, at FUNIC.
