Cameroon's project management community will gather on November 18, 2026 at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé for the awards ceremony of the first edition of the Cameroon Project Management Awards (CPMA).

The evening will mark the culmination of a long application and evaluation process: the winners of the seven award categories (Best public, private and PPP project of the year, Best PMO, Best project manager, Best young project manager and Best program manager) will be officially unveiled before finalists, partners, sponsors and distinguished guests.

Each winner will receive an engraved trophy and an official certificate, along with enhanced visibility across CPMA's media channels. Beyond the competition, the ceremony will also be a major networking moment for the entire project management community in Cameroon.

“The CPMA celebrates the decisive role project managers play in driving our country's economic and social transformation,” says Mrs. Olive Ada Bume, President of the first edition of the CPMA.

A coalition of leading project management players in Cameroon has announced the official launch of the first edition of the Cameroon Project Management Awards (CPMA), a national distinction dedicated to recognizing excellence, leadership and innovation in project management. Applications are now open at cpma-cm.org.

CPMA was born from the joint commitment of the PMI Cameroon Chapter, the Cameroon Project Management Association (CAPMA), Prescriptor SARL and Paraklete Consulting Inc. It celebrates the decisive role project managers play in driving Cameroon's economic and social transformation.

Seven award categories will be presented, including best project of the year (public, private and PPP), best PMO of the year, best project or program manager of the year, and best young project manager of the year. Winners will be celebrated at an official ceremony at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé on November 18, 2026.
