Biography

Ernest Nnanga is a project management expert and statistician-economist by training, with over twenty years of experience in strategic planning and the monitoring and evaluation of public policy in Cameroon.

He serves as Head of the Foresight and Strategic Planning Division at the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT), where he leads the National Technical Coordination for the monitoring and evaluation of the National Development Strategy (SND30) and Vision 2035, and acts as rapporteur for the Partnership Consultation Framework supporting its implementation. He also serves as National Coordinator for Cameroon of the Central Africa Forest Initiative.

An active contributor to structuring Cameroon's project management ecosystem, he chairs the National Standardization Committee for Projects, Programmes and Portfolios (CT14-ANOR) and sits on the Steering Committee of the Partnership Contracts Support Council (CARPA). He is also a Board Member of the Kribi Autonomous Port, where he chairs the Strategy and Investment Committee.

From 2009 to 2016, he headed the Major Projects Preparation Unit at MINEPAT, contributing to the maturation of the country's leading public investments. He holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) and Project Management Office Certified Practitioner (PMO-CP) certifications from PMI. He is a Statistician-Economist Engineer, a graduate of the National School of Statistics and Applied Economics (ENSEA, Abidjan, 2003), and holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Yaoundé I.
