A coalition of leading project management players in Cameroon has announced the official launch of the first edition of the Cameroon Project Management Awards (CPMA), a national distinction dedicated to recognizing excellence, leadership and innovation in project management. Applications are now open at cpma-cm.org.
Four founding organizations
CPMA was born from the joint commitment of the PMI Cameroon Chapter, the Cameroon Project Management Association (CAPMA), Prescriptor SARL and Paraklete Consulting Inc. It celebrates the decisive role project managers play in driving Cameroon's economic and social transformation.
Seven award categories
Seven award categories will be presented, including best project of the year (public, private and PPP), best PMO of the year, best project or program manager of the year, and best young project manager of the year. Winners will be celebrated at an official ceremony at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé on November 18, 2026.
